Welcome!

Virtual Lessons do not compare to being in person, to being in the same room. I do not mean virtual lessons are not as effective as in person lessons. I watched all of my students progress in exciting ways through virtual learning in 2020 and the beginning of 2021 and I am happy to provide this method of teaching to you. In person and virtual are two different formats for teaching and learning, but they are similar in that they both have positive and negative aspects.

Taking lessons virtually gives you, the student, the opportunity to focus on:

  1. How to get the sound you want

  2. How to perform those challenging skills you have been struggling with

  3. how your body works and how to control it.

  4. How your cello works and all the amazing sounds in can make

  5. It gives you the opportunity to delve into the music, to see and understand all the details on the page.

  6. And virtual lessons help you to see past the details on the page, to understand the historical context of the music and how it was influenced by the style of it’s time period.

I look forward to meeting with you and helping you improve your cello skills. Remember, the first lesson is non committal and FREE! If you are uncertain about the virtual format take advantage of this free lesson to help you make your decision.
